If it’s before noon, it is socially acceptable to drink Screwdrivers, Mimosas, or Bloody Marys.
Bloody Marys traditionally have beer backs.
So, you can drink a Bloody Mary with a beer back, hold the Bloody Mary.

I like your logic. I have always held that it is always an appropriate time for champagne/mimosas. The rest, well that’s true too.

I’ll be honest, I always just say it’s 5:00 somewhere, but this logic is very sound.
